Android Gaming Phone With a Joystick at Rs. 12,990

Mitashi on Thursday introduced two new Android-based gaming devices in its Thunder series, the Mitashi Play Thunderbolt smartphone and the Mitashi GameIn ThunderPro Quad-core Console, priced at Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 9,990 respectively. While the company hasn't given out the exact availability of both the devices, it said they will be available via Flipkart.

Designed for gamers, the Mitashi Play Thunderbolt smartphone comes with a joystick, dual speakers, OTG, and an 'ultra-sensitive' G sensor. The smartphone runs Android Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and also supports dual-SIM cards.

The display on Mitashi Play Thunderbolt is 5-inch, with an HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution and 320dpi pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor with PowerVR SGX 544MHz GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The 16GB internal storage on the Play Thunderbolt is expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). The battery on the device is 4200mAh.The company added the first few lucky buyers will get a free sleek leather flip cover worth Rs. 990.

The second Android-powered portable gaming console by the company, the Mitashi GameIn ThunderPro Quad-core Console, comes with a 5-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display, a quad-core 1.6GHz processor with a quad-core Mali 400MHz GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and Android KitKat.

HTC Desire 516C Launched at Rs. 12,990

HTC launched the budget Desire 516C smartphone in India, calling it a dual-SIM and CDMA-enabled version of the successful HTC Desire 516 Dual SIM. The handset has been made available to buy from Saturday at a price tag of Rs. 12,990 exclusively via website Snapdeal.

The HTC Desire 516C is a dual-SIM device (CDMA+GSM) that supports regular SIM cards. It runs the now-dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, there is no word on whether the Desire 516C will be receiving any software updates. It notably features the HTC BlinkFeed home screen, a feature usually reserved for higher-end handsets from the company.

It sports a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) LCD display, which offers a pixel density of 220ppi. The Desire 516 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The HTC Desire 516 packs a removable 1950mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time (3G) and up to 220 hours of standby time (3G).

The smartphone is currently available in its Gray colour variant only. It comes with dimensions 140x72x9.7mm and weighs 160 grams. Connectivity options on the HTC Desire 516C include GRPS/ EDGE, 3G (HSPA+), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack.

SanDisk Launches 512GB Extreme Pro SDXC Card in India at Rs. 51,990

The 512GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I memory card - at an event in Mumbai and it is priced at a steep Rs. 51,990. The card is targeted at still photographers and videographers who shoot 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD), 1080p (FHD) videos, and capture photographs in high-speed burst mode. The American storage company also went on to launch what it claims to be the world's fastest microSD UHS-I memory card, the 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I. These microSDHC and microSDXC UHS-I cards are available in capacities of 32GB and 64GB which start at Rs. 4,700 and go right up to Rs. 9,700. 

SanDisk claims that the 512GB Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I card can deliver write speeds of up to 90MB/s and transfer speeds of up to 95MB/s. Additionally, the card is built and tested to work in harsh conditions as a result of which they are temperature proof, water proof and shock proof. It also has a lifetime limited warranty and has support for RescuePRO Deluxe data recovery software (download required) for recovering accidentally deleted images.
